Essays: Incredibly strong, my mom died second semester my junior year (which caused me to go from straight A’s to a couple B’s). Since I am 18 and my parents have been estranged for last 10 years, I was named the executor of her will. I am writing my essay on how becoming her executor forced me to grow up by having to shoulder the financial, legal, and moral obligations I was tasked with. She also had a history of drug problems that I had to grow up with.
