unc?
wake?
UVA?
U of I business?
michigan business apply as high school senior?
duke?
Notre Dame?

what do u think my chances are. thanks for the thoughts

unc - reach (OOS)
wake - match
UVA - reach/match
U of I business - match
michigan business apply as high school senior - you will get into UM, but not into business program as freshman
duke - reach
Notre Dame - match

thanks for the comment. interesting how you said reach for unc (OOS) and duke but match for nd. i thought nd was better than unc and on the same level as duke. anybody else agree?

UNC - Slight Reach / Reach (OOS), it's VERY hard from OOS, 18% of students from OOS
Wake - Match / Safe Match
UVa - Match
U of I - Safe Match
U of M - Match (B-School as a frosh Slight Reach (avg UM GPA 3.8, 31 ACT), unless you have some nice business credentials / mindblowing essays)
Duke - Slight Reach / Reach
Notre Dame - Match / Slight Reach

UNC OOS is almost as difficult to get into as Harvard (they say, it is somewhat exagerated of course).

ND is not even close to Duke in terms of selectivity. Duke is as hard to get into as "lower" ivies, while ND is at good state school selectivity levels.

thanks for the responses... If your thoughts are on the $, then that's good. I thought I would have to apply to one of those schools ED, but since you guys are saying matches for some of them, I guess I could apply regular and also apply to the others. If i applied ED and got in, I couldn't find out if I would get accepted anywhere else... thanks

That's an exaggeration, all right. UNC OOS is about as selective as Duke. Don't get your hopes up about Duke. Last year Duke accepted 12.5% of students ranking in the top 5-10% of their class, and this year will likely be even more competitive. Excellent essays and great teacher recs could tilt the balance.
