<p>Hi everyone, this is only my second post here but I've looked at this site quite often to get me through the stressful admissions/application process. It seems like all the people here are super smart and respectable intellectuals so I'm a little intimidated :)
I applied EA to UNC and other schools but this is definitely my first choice:
Caucasian (non US citizen (France), US Permanent Resident) female
Raleigh, NC
GPA- 3.7 (UW), 4.21 (W)
SAT- 2020 (M-670 R-650 W-700) I'm a little dissappointed
Rank- Top 10%

AP Scholar w/ Distinction
Currently Taking a Dual Enrollment Spanish Class at UNC (Span 310)</p>

<p>ECs:
National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Spanish Club, French Club, Spanish/ French Tutoring, Founded Local Quizno's Recycling Program, Competitive Equestrian, Springboard Diving</p>

<p>I'm looking to major in Chemistry and minor in Business Administration and eventually go to Vet School</p>

<p>strong courseload, nice UW gpa.
nothing really stands out in the ec's though.
Dont worry about sat - you fall in range (if not above avg.)
So overall, i think you got a shot - prolly will come down to your essays/recs.</p>

<p>Sat shouldnt be a problem here. Yeah, only thing that's a little weak is the extracurriculars. Besides, there's always nc state if you dont get in!

<p>Thx for the replies so far...I was actually just briefing my stats but I also have nearly 5 years worth of work experience in 5 different places- horse trainer assitant, quiznos, french pastry store, panera, and I've been working in an Equestrian store for the past year...I also didn't list any of the state ranking awards I got in Equestrian competition of which I was rankefd 1st in NC for my age division as well as academic awards....I know I'm not like a super amazing candidate but the fact that I'm currently taking a class junior/senior level spanish class and have an A would that help me since I'm in-state?</p>
