Thanks, and I just chanced you.

Also, would you classify UIUC and UMich as a high match or a low reach? I know it doesn’t matter that much, but just curious.

You have pretty decent chances in all of them. Georgetown is a bit competitive so that might be a reach. I would recommend taking Subject Tests and focusing on concentrating in one specific extra-curricular.

When you say focus on one extra-curricular: I am very focused on rowing. The ski instruction is just on Saturdays for December to March, and the Church Group is just a little hour once a week. And I do the service for NHS but that’s really it. Also, thanks for your insight!

NYU: high match
Michigan: mid match
Illinois: mid match
Madison: mid match
Georgetown: low reach

You have very similar credentials as me!
Chance me if you have time!

What is your intended major?
For UMich, both your GPA and ACT are below admission average for UMich overall (avg GPA 3.85 and mid 50 ACT 30-33). UMich LSA would be a low reach for you from OOS. UMich CoE would be reach as your ACT is at the 25th percentile.

UIUC should be a match to low reach depending on major.

Thanks to all. Also, @billcsho, would UIUC become a reach if I am instate? I don’t know which major yet. I was thinking Econ though.

I think for UIUC Econ, it should be a match for you from in state.

Thanks.

Univ. of Wisconsin - Accepted
Univ. of Michigan - Accepted

@skslxxbjk‌ Thanks, and I chanced you back.

Wisconsin, U of I, and NYU are all matches which you should get in to, but Michigan and Georgetown are reaches with a 31. Colleges really like multi-lingual people, so that will help you, but I still think those two are reaches.
