Target, reach, safety?

you’re definitely in. safety.

You’re easily in.

However, it’s not a safety unless you’re certain that you can afford the school. Do you know what kind of merit scholarships you’ll get? Is cost a concern?

Where else have you applied?

Is that your WEIGHTED GPA that is on your transcript??

Money is somewhat of an issue for me, but the education comes first. I have been accepted to Eastern Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan - Dearborn, and Ferris State University. I am currently awaiting my response from Ohio State University and University of Arizona, and I am considering applying to Akron. I made the bonehead mistake of applying to Michigan State for engineering, and as a result they want seventh semester grades before they will accept me (my friend with the exact same GPA and a 25 ACT was accepted because he applied for liberal arts). And no, this is my unweighted GPA. First quarter was solid As, second is looking the same. If I maintain solid As through the remainder of the school year, my weighted GPA will be just shy of a 3.6.

Well the thing is with Arizona, they base scholarships off of SAT/ACT scores, so that 30 ACT will get you a good amount of money (I got an 1810 SAT, and got $6,000/yr)

I had absolutely no idea it was 40k a year for out of state tuition. That’s just crazy…
