Chances at University of Michigan- Ann Arbor

<p>Hello everyone, I am an instate student looking to go to UofM.</p>

<p>GPA(weighted): 3.83 GPA(unweighted): 3.91</p>

<p>ACT: 32 SAT II's: US History - 700 Biology- 740
Freshman Schedule: Spanish2, Geophysical Science, Honors Geometry, World History, English 9, P.E, comp apps</p>

<p>Sophomore: AP US Hist, Honors Biology, Honors Alg 2, Spanish 3, Health, Art, Am lit</p>

<p>Junior: AP Gov, AP micro, AP macro, AP stats, honors precalc, honors comp, honors shakespeare, chemistry, advanced tennis</p>

<p>EC's
1. 50 hours volunteering at UofM Hospital
2. 50 hours volunteering at St joes hospital
3. School newspaper writer
4. Key club
5. NHS
6. Student Council
7. 50 hours volunteering at local public library
8. Track freshman year
9. shadowing a doctor junior year summer( 8 hours a day for 8 weeks)</p>

<p>Don’t worry too much, you should be set. You’re at the upper end of average admits for ACT and average for GPA. You’re in state as well and you have enough ECs. Just do well on your essays and get good recs and you’ll be in.</p>

<p>Around 50% acceptance rate…I think you’ll make the cut.</p>

<p>40% now. 16k accepted out of 39k apps.</p>

<p>Put some time into your essays and you have probably a 95% chance of getting in.</p>

<p>If you were out of state it would be more like a low reach, but since you’re in state you’re a match and you should be fine.</p>
