I may have forgotten something, not sure.

I think you have a good chance honestly you have a great rank and gpa. Just be sure to take the SAT again and try to score around a 2000ish. Also, I don’t know if you’re a junior or senior, but if you’re a junior you still have time to amp up those community service hours so be sure to do that!

Great GPA, Great SAT, Great EC, I think you would be a great canidate for U of M!

Thanks, and I am a junior. I agree the my community service is lacking, so I plan on making an effort this summer. Thanks for the advice!

Also, if anyone sees this thread - I’m also thinking of Northwestern, Ga Tech (my instate school), Vandy, Wake Forest, and maybe UNC or UVA. Any insight into these schools as well would be greatly appreciated.

In addition, what I really need is scholarship money. I’m only a junior, but I’ve already applied for a handful of scholarships. My parents have a high enough income for me not to qualify for financial aid, but my parents didnt save enough money for me to even nearly get by at an out of state school. I REALLY want to go to Michigan, but fear I may not be able to if the finances aren’t right…so I’m really hoping Michigan offers me some scholarships. Does anyone know how that might come about?

I can provide testimony on northwestern, as I was recently admitted.

I had a 34 ACT and a 3.8 UW with really amazing ECs and good essays

@ramof2012 - in terms of ECs, was it community service or school involvement? (if that makes any sense…I feel as though I’m incredibly involved in my school and contribute to it greatly - I spend ALOT of my time with tennis (am going to turn down scholarships to less
prestigious schools, like Ga State) - but am lacking in community service, which i fear is really going to hurt me.

Excuse the numerous grammatical errors. I type too quickly.
