Intended Major: Japanese
Take into account, they have rolling admissions and I applied really late. (Aug 2nd)</p>

<p>no - i'm just worried b/c i haven't heard back from them and fall term is starting really soon. i highly doubt i'll get fin. aid anywere, my parents are divorced but my dad is a doctor</p>

<p>you could burn down one of their campus buildings and it wouldn't make a difference--if you haven't heard from them this late, then they screwed something up. call them.</p>
<p>just wondering...since $ is the problem Pitt out of state is no bargain, Pitt and Penn State are close to 30k I'm fairly sure. Why not try for a NC state school that might still have an opening? Maybe transfer after a couple years if you're financially able.</p>
<p>my dad lives in Pittsburgh, so I can save on room and board (live at home), + he works for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and can maybe get his contract reworked to allow for an employee discount (even though I'm out of state)</p>
