We’re not trying to beat you up. Just consider this as friendly advice.
@sgopal2 I didn’t say you were. I really appreciate all the feedback you guys give me; it helps me a lot. It’s just rather frustrating to have to explain over and over that I am taking the SAT to qualify for NMSF, NOT because my ACT is bad.
loll
i just thought it was funny how everyone on the thread was getting so angry at you about the retaking ACT thing
@BucketsUCSC Lol oh yeah. I just wish they would read what I said!
@wormholes if you’re applying as a quant major I think it would be especially important that you boost up that math level 2 score. Because I believe that because you are asian you will be compared to other asian applicants so you would actually be EXPECTED to get an 800 on math level 2. But if your major isn’t engineering or economics or physics or something along the lines I wouldn’t worry about it unless you have a major related to the medical field in which case I would retake the chem subject test
@BucketsUCSC Yeah, I’m planning to major in biochemistry and eventually go to med school. I’m thinking of taking the Bio M subject test. Idk if I should really retake math because I’ve taken classes like AP Calc AB/BC and gotten As/5s.
