Chances at UPenn,Cornell,UMich,UIUC,UCLA,Gatech and Purdue

btw the international purdue application is 1 page only( plus 1 page for the financial confirmation....something lile that) but the freshman applicaton for US citizens is longer and you have to provide detailed info, so i think its easier for int'l students to get into Purdue.

is virginiatech better than UTAustin? Can i consider either one of them to be my safety?

I got into Wisconsin with worse stats than yours. If your grades are good, you're fine.

How can you bump something ONE MINUTE after your last post?

How do you sleep at night?

man im not from ur region so the times dont apply to me!

btw how long does it take for the wisconsin application to arrive by mail cause i cant download it cause im international

yo guyz anyone else wanna rate my chances?

Virginia Tech is a heck of a lot better than some of the other schools you have mentioned (Wisconsin in particular), and you'll probably make it in.

Without a GPA, I really can't say whether you will make it in or not to schools. Based solely on your SAT, I think I can safely say that only Purdue and UMich on your list are matches. I just got accepted to Purdue w/ a 570v/760m SAT. I dunno about Purdue's fees for international students, but it is an excellent engineering school. Even better than Virginia Tech!

thanks for your help guys, btw, in the rankings above, which universities from no10-no28 have a nice campus( i mean metropolitan, parties and stuff etc...)

From what I heard, Madison is relatively urban, and is a BIG party school. Maryland is just outside DC, so that's a good option. I think that UT would be enjoyable also.

i think ill switch wisconsin with ut austin, hope get in. Thanks

there is a problem......I cant apply for the next 10 days cause our president/Ruler died so theres a 15 day holiday, and my school takes an extra 3 weeks to attach everything.

Purdue is not an easy way to get in for the engineering program. True, getting into Purdue would be easy in the College of Arts & Sciences, but with the engineering program (It's more difficult than you THINK!!!)

how diff? could 1340 3.8 weighted top 12% get in?

UIUC is best for EE, rest like purdue and GT are still ranked among top
