Can you guys give me your stats for my chances on each the College, Wharton, and Huntsman program
*Yale

Thanks!

I'd be hesistant before putting a suicide attempt out in the open like that. Courageous, but a little twisted. Mediocre EC's will make all of these schools reaches, and you desparately need to consider more safety schools.

As far as EC's go, I don't think you should worry about increasing them now. It won't matter.

He should be a shoo in at Emory and GT. The ivies will be tough with not impressive ECs and I'm guessing you're Korean, but you have a shot. I'd say Penn (not Wharton) you'd have a good shot at. Not enough language activities to be serious for Huntsman.

Thanks for the comments

i have other safeties (UGA and others), i was just wondering if i had a chance at the ivies and tier 1 schools

i thought a lot about the essay topic..my second choice was the volunteer work i did in the Dominican Republic but i felt that was a bit too generic...The suicide topic brang out the most emotion and personality in me...it's mostly about how it impacted my life/personality

and I've studied Latin independently for 1 semester and taken courses for 2 and a half years and 2 years in french and i'm also fluent in korean(my second language, lived there for almost 7 years)
-does that help w/ my chances for wharton/huntsman?
(Wharton's my first choice and than Huntsman and The College)

What could i have done to have increased my ECs?

Thanks again, i really appreciate the comments

if youre serious about writing about the suicide attempt, i'd think again- schools dont want anyone who could possibly, remotely, be unstable (even if it was several years ago)
