<p>I'm a white student from Pennsylvania who goes to a middle of the road high school. I'm interested in a business major and applying early action to all these schools.</p>

<p>Stats:
Cumulative Weighted GPA: 4.1544 (Was placed in 2 "regular" level classes Freshman year which hurt my weighted GPA, had a 4.4 weighted GPA my Junior year)
Cumulative GPA: 3.79
AP: AP US History (5), AP Language and Composition (4), AP Biology (4).
Got A's in every class except Honors Geometry (B), Spanish 2 (B-), Honors Physics (A-), Honors Precalculus (A-), AP Bio (B)
Senior Class Load: AP English Literature and Composition, AP Human Geography, AP Calculus, AP Gov, AP Stat, Microeconomics (dual enrollment)(Decided not to take a science and focus more on business courses.)
SAT: 2000 (690 M, 660 R, 650 W)
ACT: 32 (32 E, 31 M, 34 R, 32 S)
SAT II subject: US History (760) and Math 2 (660)</p>

<p>Extracurricular: (Unimpressive)
Future Business Leaders of America (11th grade Vice President, 12th Grade President)
9th Place in state Entrepreneurship competition
300 hours volunteering for a local not profit
60 hours volunteering at a local hospital
Part time job since 2012
Attended Business camp at state college</p>

<p>I have 2 great teacher recommendation and my essays are alright, although essays are not my strong suit</p>

<p>To be honest I don’t think your chances at UPenn are that great. And since you’re applying to UVa out of state, I think it’s going to be a tough call, also. You definitely have a chance at University of Michigan, though, as well as Penn State. I think maybe add a few safeties to your list for the sake of, well, safety. It never hurts, though, to reach for the stars. </p>

<p>For UPenn & UMich business schools would be reaches for you. For UMich LSA (that you may apply to Ross in sophomore), you GPA is below admission average and ACT is slightly above average. It would still be a low reach for you.</p>
