My Stats are :

SAT 1 : 2140/1440
M : 790
V : 650
W: 700

SAT 2 :
Literature : 740
Math 1 : 730 (Ugh)
Math 2 : 790

I don't know how to exactly convert my school percentage (I'm an international applicant) to a GPA, but it'll be about 3.8-3.9.

I have great recommendations and a solid secondary school record.

What do you guys think ? Have I got a shot at any of these colleges ?

You have a pretty good shot at Penn, but your SAT score is rather low compared to the vast range of the applicant pool…If you could bring it up by about 40-80 points it would slightly facilitate your chances which are a gambit anyway. You have a most probable definite in for NYU, but you haven’t posted your EC’s…

You’re in NYU, good shot at Chicago (especially if your SAT verbal goes up + you have amazing ECs you’re not telling us), but Penn is a reach. However, schools of that caliber are a reach for basically everyone.

Thanks for the feedback. My main EC’s (as I listed in my common application) :

Student Govt. - School Core Committee Member
Varsity Basketball Team
State Level Basketball
School Web and Creative Design Team
Photography and Videography Team
Master Of Ceremonies for School Functions
Editorial Board of the School Magazine
Media and Cultural Group

Are you guys sure about NYU Stern being almost definite ? If you are, its a relief, but I thought Stern was more competitive than most Ivies.

Honestly, you guys are a little off saying that their in at NYU, if it was any other school but stern than yeah, their prolly in but Stern’s application pool is as good as Cornell/Duke/Rice

Penn, especially Huntsman, will be a major reach.

I know huntsman will be crazy difficult to get into. I was recently called for an interview with an alumni member though, which went pretty well. Will that have any influence over my admission ?

Also, if I don’t get into Stern or Huntsman, can I still be offered admission into the college of arts and sciences/Wharton ?

My final semester results were released and I was the ranked 4th overall, if it carries any weight.
