M&T is just awesome... nothing wrong with that.

ya i know but it's getting so damn competitive now (i'm applying too :P)

re NMS: I don't think a 219 is competitive for NY, but I could be mistaken. More populated states usually have NMS cutoffs in the 220's.

Probably better i fyou posted in the penn forum, since overall knowledge about M&T is pretty slim imo.

fyi, your ACT is stronger than your SAT.

Advertise your webdesign portfolio strongly. Not to be harsh, but outside of that your EC's are kind of cookie-cutter for wharton & M&T

New York's cutoff has been 218 the past few years.

Not that it's directly comparable, but if you combine my SATII Writing with my SATI, it's a 2290, which is pretty strong.

I've always thought my ECs have been my strongest point. I may not be top of my class (though weighted, I'll most likely be top 10 of 330) at a pretty comptetative school... but I'm really trying to highlight my ECs more than anything else. Key Club and music just take up so many hours a week... And if I can get some sort of recommendation, it'll show that I really do go above and beyond what I should be doing as Lieutenant Governor.

Thanks for the advice... I never really realized how strong this could actually weigh since it's been more of a hobby, as opposed to leadership positions, which require constant work and effort.

Would it be annoying to post the same thing over in the Penn section? =/

Keep the criticism coming... I need to know these things =)

HE'S IN THE ALL STATE BAND!!!! do you know how hard it is to get into all-state, by the way steve which state do you live in?

I'm in New York... I actually haven't officially "made" the band yet (letters come this month)... but, I did get 100 on my audish with an awesome recommendation from the judge (who my teacher tells me practically invented NYSSMA, the "judging organization" =P). Who knows, maybe I'll make All Eastern too (hey, a man can dream!!)

Hey Steve!

Hey Acid! I don't know who you are!!
