chances at upenn...

I'm considering applying to upenn ed if I don't become a questbridge semifinalist.
SAT: CR 800, M 660, W 690
AP's: Euro 4, US 4, Physics B 3, Chem 3 (I know. meh.)
I'm taking my SAT II's in October, and I'll be taking AP Calc, Gov, Bio, Lit, and Physics C.
My cum. GPA is around 4.5 weighted. I'm currently 3rd in a class of 192 at a rural school in PA.
Activities:
Newspaper editor, Academic team co-captain, student council president, Model Un delegate, NHS member
I also do some community service. But in any case, what'd you say my chances are?

Those SAT scores are going to hinder you a lot. I don’t think ED really gives you an advantage…usually all of the extremely qualified candidates apply ED. If you even consider applying, I’d suggest RD

I’m pretty sure ED helps your chances because you are making a commitment to attend. What vbplayer described is more like EA. I do agree that your SAT is a bit low given that you are unhooked

But everyone applying ED to Upenn should be extremely qualified. Being an unqualified ED applicant isnt going to help you in any way.

Right now, mid reach.

Raise your SAT score (because everything else is great), and it’d be a low reach.

you have great stats, but maybe you should try the ACT? the math and english are much easier. otherwise, ED low reach.

i guess you can’t really raise youre sat scores since you’re taking sat 2s in october, so just try to ace those. high reach, i would say
