Hey I'm the first child in my family to apply to college (parents both went to Pitt 30 years ago, they say things have changed a great deal) and I'm just curious to see if I have a shot at UPenn. I know I only have two weeks to wait, but im getting antsy.

GPA: 4.25/4.00 all A's
SAT: 680 CR, 740 Math, 730 Writing
SAT II: 790 Math II, 790 Chemistry
ACT: 35, weak writing though
I go to a relatively large public school in PA, ranked 2/380
AP Exams: 5 on Calc AB, Bio, Chem, and US Hist.
My senior year I'm taking AP Calc BC, AP Stat, AP Lang. and Comp, and a few blowoffs that I feel I'm entitled to as a senior.

Essay: Honestly my required UPenn essay was pretty weak, I regrettably didn't put much effort in to it. Didn't really understand it. My optional one (the one about a journal?) was pretty decent, I wrote about the Pittsburgh Penguins and my first track meet haha. My common app essay was strong.
Recs: Pretty solid, though somewhat generic.
EC's: Treaurer of Key Club, Varsity Track and Field for 4 years, Captain of Academic Quiz Team, NHS, SNHS (only one year), Letterman's Club, volunteer at Food Bank, worked in a restaurant for a year.
Awards: just some school awards like student of the month, I won some math competition and a History Comp, just basic stuff like that.

Just in case it matters, I'm a white male and my interviewer and I did not see eye-to-eye so I don't think he'll be helping me out much.

I feel like I'm going to end up at Pitt regardless of what Ben Franklin's school says (full tuition is nice and I've always wanted to go there) and right now Penn is the only school that could possibly change my mind. So do I have a shot?
