Chances at USAFA

Hi all, I’d like to apply to the USAFA, hoping someone could chance me and give advice, thanks. (Currently a junior)

you are in the hunt. a lot will depend on the applicant pool of your congressional district and state (congressman or senators must nominate you). You need to, if you haven’t already, find out your congressman’s and senator’s nomination process asap, many have started already for juniors. You need to find out how many slots they have available (they can have 5 at each academy at on time so they may or may not have a slot to fill next year). In another post I detailed some nom process items so check that out. You need to, if you haven’t already, find and contact the local Academy liasion officer. They can help immensely with the process (especially with the Academy itself, which has a separate but equally elaborate and demanding process to work simultaneously) . Hopefully your guidance office can put you in touch. good luck
