what are my chances at UCI, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, USC.

so sad why cant you just accept me, plus what are my chances

bump, chance and i’ll chance back

I’d say you have a pretty good chance.
I had a similar GPA to yours just a slightly higher UW, and I got into UCSD and UCI, majoring in Mechanical Engineering as well.
As far as essays, if people think they are amazing, then I’d say you probably can get into UCI, and for your EC - I think you had more than me, for I only had around 50-60 volunteer hours, a couple of clubs, and a Robotics Team.
Your ACT score seems decent, and it fits with most of your choices.
I’d say:
Good chance for UCI
UCLA might be a reach, but I’m sure you can get in.
UCSB decisions are out today aren’t they? I hope you got in!
USC I’m pretty sure you can get in, but it might be a reach like UCLA.
UCB seems to be a little tougher, so just keep your hopes up. You’ve done great and I’m sure you’ll get into one of your top choices.
Good luck!

No offense, but probably a rejection from UCLA, UCB, and USC… they are super hard schools to get into.

I do, 100%, give you the best and hope that you get into your top choice. It is so difficult getting rejections, even to the school you didn’t even think you cared about. I just got rejected from UCSD (which I had never even considered going there), and I felt horrible, I even thought of appealing. But now, after a few days and reconsideration, I realize that there is no point in appealing, because I have no opinion of San Diego.

Good luck to the both of us then, waiting for the rest of the UC’s.
