Chances at USC, UCLA, UCB, Rice, CMC, Pomona, Northwestern, and UCSD? Suggestions for improvement?

@skieurope Oh  Yeah, I just feel that (from what I’ve read/seen), their neuroscience program is pretty top notch. Though, they don’t have linguistics which I don’t like :(

Rice and Northwestern are the hardest ones. You are probably applying for financial aid which in Rice is very limited, I personally asked, which makes it very competitive. The others seem to be ok for you still, you MUST have killers essays, recommendations and try to interview for Rice. They strongly advice it, they weren’t able to schedule mine due to a large volume of requests but still maybe you can interview. Try to include something social, so they don’t think you are a book-eating nerd.

I am going to apply for FA, but I’ve come to terms with the fact that my family will be receiving very little to no financial aid.
My recommendations will most definitely be killer, the teachers love me (more so than anyone I’ve seen…). Do I get one from humanities, one from sciences? My two humanities teachers will likely write stronger letters than my science teacher, so I’m conflicted…
I will definitely interview  Are there interviews throughout the country?

OH YES… books  my favorite… To be honest, I’m not much of a reader, nor do I look like a nerd upon first glance.
What do you mean by that? Include something social where? Thanks so much  @bxvaecu
