Chances at USC?

hey, im from new york (queens) and i transfered to USC after the spring 2005 semester. I was accepted into the business program as a junior transfer with a 3.5 gpa from Pace university(not a CC). You have a excellent chance if you can maintain that gpa.

As for financial aid, my family efc was 0 and I was given; 27,000 in grants, 4,500perkins, 2,500 workstudy, 4,050 in pell grants and up to 3,500 in stafford loan.

I also really hate the CITY of los angeles. Theres alot of bums roaming in the streets(more than NYC). Other then teh city, everything here is nice and laid back. Transportation here sucks, and people are impolite when waiting in line. actually... there is no line.... they push each other onto the bus. bring your car if you can!

I just like the school itself. Theres ALOT of study-aboard, internship and job opportunites for the students. The university is really diverse.. alot of out-of-state and international kids. Also, I LOVE the big college sport atmosphere... so if your into sports, i think you'll like SC. it offers the full college experience with good academics.

if you have any other questions, feel free to email me!
hope this helps

focus on the essay... i think thats how i got in. also, being out-of-state kinda helps..

nyc does the 27k of grants were given to you based on financial need? are you the rule or the exception (regrading to financial aid)?

"I can say the same thing about kids who go to UCLA. More than half those kids are book smart and little else. It's like UCLA is for the kids who were dorks in high school, and USC is for the cool kids. I myself am a little of both, which is why I could fit in at either one."

No one cares about your personality assessment of yourself.
