<p>Hi Im a junior becoming a senior this fall.</p>

<p>I'm korean living in NJ.</p>

<p>My GPA isn't the greatest. I have a 3.7 weighted and a 3.5 unweighted.
I took 3 APs (Bio, Comp Sci, and US Hist).
I also took 2 honors (English and Pre Calc)
I took other courses such as economics and such but these were my core classes.</p>

<p>I'm going to be taking 3 more APs next year.(Calc English and Psych)</p>

<p>My ECs are:
environmental club
varsity swimming
library volunteer
and club swimmer
(i'm planning on becoming a volunteer firefighter my senior year)</p>

<p>I won an award from the Korean consulate for exceptional work in korean class. It was given by a Korean official in the embassy in NY. I also was awarded a scholastic athletic award for swimming twice.</p>

<p>I'm planning on swimming in college, im not the best but i am pretty good. I'm also in the middle of applying for the nrotc scholarship. I'm not sure if that'll effect my chances.</p>

<p>So, what are my chances??</p>

<p>I think “not the best but pretty good” as a swimmer probably won’t cut it at a top swim school like USC. If you really want to swim at a college, you should consider somewhere else.</p>

<p>I’m taking the ACTs but my practice scores are all around 30/31</p>

<p>It’s a reach in my opinion. But you definitely can’t do yourself harm by getting a 30-32 on the ACT.</p>
