so what would u guys think for USC and if not USC a school similar to it, around california or florida.

thanks a bunch

11th grade scores look good (except for English), but those 10th grade scores aren't looking so hot for USC.

I'd say you have a good chance at a school like UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara,
Chapman College, and Santa Clara in California (although these are all kind of expensive--of course, so is USC--$49,000 a year with tuition, housing, food, and books).

In Florida, you can get into University of Central Florida, Florida State, and possibly University of Miami (Florida). I don't think University of Florida is going to be possible, unless you have really good SAT/ACT scores.

Best of success.

but in grade 12 if i continue an upwards trend wouldnt that make USC look a little less at my grade 10 year, I had family issues that year and lot of other stuff going on in my life at that time

Brendon, u have a pretty good shot at USC. Another similar school is UCSB just it dosnt really have much of a traditional college experience. But ayways the campus is amazing as its on a beach!
Anyways yea id say USC, u have a 50% chance of getting in.

Other similar feel schools:
Florida:
- University of Miami: Ok I second this school cause its almost a replica of USC in the east. Gorgeous campus (though not tradtional brick style, more like a country club looking school with lakes in the center of campus), amazing sports scene, school spirit and the whole college experience. Also its in a major city just like L.A and id say its the closes similarity to Los Angeles outside of California. its a lil easier to get in that USC so ud have about a 65% chance of getting in.

Florida State: also very similar to USC just its not really in a big city liek USC and UM. but still its got all the rest I mentioned in the other schools.
Florida state u have about a 75% chance of getting in.

Georgia:

UGA: also another similar school feel. not in a big city but in a collge town that has a nice vibe. about a 70% chance of getting in.

Well anyways message me for questions.

ID say ur closest similarity to USC in Florida is UMiami but again its expensive so u might wanna look at FSU even though OOS tutions dosnt come cheap either.

I think that USC, unlike many schools, does take a lot longer to decide who they take--and often asks for mid-year scores. For that reason, yes, you do have a pretty good chance with rising grade scores. But remember that most US colleges--including USC--will be looking at least at your last two years of school work--meaning that the second semester of your 10th year will be included--and they might even look at your 9th grade results to a small degree if they are undecided. Also, the first go-around will be looking at just what you posted here--no first semester 12th grade scores.

If you get a really good SAT score--like 2050+--you will probably get in. But if your scores are in the 1770-1860 range, you probably will not. Anything in between 1860 and 2050 puts you in a 50-50 situation. Of course, this is just my personal view--so I wish you well in proving me wrong--or in getting the higher SAT score-and proving me right--by getting admitted in both cases.

Best of success to you.

P.S. I also believe that a 1850 score and the same grades you posted on here will probably get you into the schools I mentioned in my last post--thus the reason for discriminating between what you needed at each one.

this may be a little off topic but USC and UMiami are around the 50,000/year tuition, i heard that Canadians pay a bit more could anyone explain how much you think it would cost a year for a Canadian citizen with housing food etc. and if u have to pay in advance etc.
