Chances at UT Austin Engineering?

Hi, guys! I'm wondering what my chances are to be accepted into University of Texas at Austin's College of Engineering.

Gender: Female.
Ethnicity: White. (Transparent in the winter.)
State: Wisconsin.
GPA: 4.56 weighted, 3.94 unweighted.
Class Rank: My school does not do class rank.
AP Classes: AP Physics B, AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Lang/Comp, AP Lit, AP Spanish.
ACT Composite: 33.
SAT II: Math II (800), Physics (750).

Extracurriculars:
- Varsity softball player all 4 years. All-conference honors all 4 years. MVP 3 years. Varsity captain 2 years. I also played on a pretty good club team that placed at state and nationals two years in a row - I was MVP/Captain for that team as well.
- I play the viola. I've been in a local youth orchestra organization for 9 years, spending the last 4 in the top two symphonic groups. With my high school's orchestra, I have played in the symphony orchestra and pit orchestra for the musicals. I sit principal in these orchestras.
- Forensics - 2 years of participation.
- I started an engineering-focused club for girls called "AWE" (Attracting Women to Engineering) that I put a lot of hours into; lots of teachers/administrators loved the club and quite a few girls ended up joining. (2 years)
- Service Club - an all-girls organization that focuses mainly on volunteering throughout my community. I volunteered at the local children's museum and at the food shelter mostly - 120 hours, 3 years.

Awards:
- Won a local concerto contest for violas freshman year
- Merit Award all 4 years
- National Council of Teachers in English - Building level writing award
- High Honors Student every semester

I don't have a crazy life story - parents are still together/alive/not on drugs or anything, I grew up in a safe suburb - but I am very easily inspired. I can write one hell of an essay.

Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

I think you are just what UT is looking for. As you know being OOS is tough to get into UT and Cockrell is even tougher but I think you have a great chance.

That is one impressive resume. Best of luck to you. I can’t imagine you not getting in.

You sound a lot like my youngest daughter. She is OOS, has excellent academics, is a softball player (all league, captain 2 years, ASA club team placed 2nd in state 18U tourney, loves UT Softball ) and also is a musician (though not as accomplished) and has applied for engineering as well. Accepted at UWisc, OSU and Penn State so far. Sounds like you two have a lot in common.

You sound much more qualified than me lol. I have a 32 ACT and 4.0 unweighted along with 30-40 credits (depending on how many they give for my AP exams). I have virtually no extracurriculars tho, which will probably be my downfall.
Just curious, what’s your major?

Your resume is impressive and I think your chances are high. Best of luck to you.
