Chances at UT-Austin transfer admission?

<p>I am a freshman at the University of Texas-Dallas. Last year, I decided to come to UTD because I received a full scholarship (I never even applied to UT-Austin). These days, I'm DYING to transfer to Austin. I earned a 3.856 GPA last semester and am on pace to finish the year with around a 3.93...maybe a bit lower (3.89 maybe). I have taken a couple of upper level psych courses, chemistry, precalculus, and then some basics--15 hours each semester. Does anyone have a clue as to whether I will get in? i have heard some horror stories about 4.0's not getting in as transfers...frankly it's scaring me. I won't find out until June because UT must receive my spring semester grades. Thanks guys.</p>

<p>i don't think UTD offers CAP..so i don't think he has any guarantees.</p>

<p>Yes I am a Texas resident...I'm freom Austin. And no there is no CAP at UTD.</p>

<p>i think u should be fine getting into ut-austin. bet ull be glad to get out of richardson(my father works there)</p>
