<p>Your GPA is not important. It is very difficult to compare GPA from different schools, especially overseas. And many schools weight it differently.
Rank is much more important and the rigor of the classes you take.
And comparable test scores (SAT/ ACT/ IB)</p>

<p>You don’t need SAT II, it is not required. Very few SAT II tests can give students credits, but IB diploma itself will give 30 credits, I believe, and sophomore status.

<p>College of Communication doesn’t care about Math, they suggest that students take SAT II Math (if they don’t have AP/ IB credit) to get credit for Precalculus and be done with Math requirements, but don’t do it for Advertising, they have a required Statistics class.</p>

<p>Advertising is a CREATIVE major, so your essays, ECs, portfolio/resume and letters of recommendation will be very important.
And financial statement too. :D</p>
