i'm not sure what else to add. Ask a question if i'm missing anything. Thanks

You should be able to get into all of those schools.

Only thing against you is your class rank in spite of your UW GPA- the rigor simply isn’t what one would expect for a 3.95. Nevertheless, you seem to have great test scores and EC’s. Here goes:

UT: Complete And Total Safety (CATS)
Duke: Low Reach
Rice: Match

Hope that helps!

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1517788-chance-johns-hopkins-ed-will-chance-back.html

wait what do you mean that my rank is against me? I don’t understand.

And i miscalculated my UW GPA it is 3.76.

Won’t you get into UT automatically because of your class rank?

Your class rank works against you simply because of the numbers involved. There are likely at least 50 students at your high school, based on rank, whose academic record is comparable to/better than yours. I believe there are a couple thousand high schools in the state of Texas and tens of thousands across the country. Every highly selective university runs out of spots in their freshman class long before they run out of highly qualified applicants.

yeah i’m not talking about UT as a school. I’m sure i’ll get in the school but what are my chances at the BME major (which only has ~100 people)?

Hey, I’m from Plano too. Lol you would be top 2% in any other Senior high grad class, but yours is just really competitive. I think you might just make it.

you wont be able to get into any of them, sorry youre just not good enough
