Chances at UT Honors Program?

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I was wondering what my chances are at getting into the Deans' Scholar Program at UT.</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Weighted GPA (out of 100): 104.95
Rank: 2
Number of Students: 650
Our School is well known in Texas, has sent a lot of students to really good schools.</p>

<p>SAT II: Math IIC: 800, Chemistry: 750, US History: 760
SAT: 2220 (Math 760, Critical Reading 760, Writing 700)
ACT: to be taken</p>

<p>AP:
Biology: 5
World History: 5
Chemistry: 5
Physics: 5
Calc BC: 5
US History: 5
English (Junior level): 5</p>

<p>Extra stuff:
*National Honor Society
*Mu Alpha Theta
*Published a scientific journal article
*UIL Science (went to regionals in jr. year) - placed 4th in district.
*Play Cricket for recreation
*Part of a medical program at our school
*70 hours of community service at a hospital
*lots of tutoring hours
*National Merit Semifinalist
*AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

<p>I was wondering what my chances are of becoming a Dean's Scholar. Also, do AP scores matter at all?</p>

<p>... But they only accept 30 people. You do have strong APs, however. I think they do count.. I'm not sure.</p>
