My sister is a junior who wants to know her chances at UTs College of Natural Sciences.

Her stats:
Rank: 112/957
GPA: 3.96W
ACT: 31
PSAT: 197
SAT: all she says is that "they're really bad", she plans on sending her ACT

ECs:
Cross Country/Track JV: 9th-11th , should be varsity next year
assorted in-school club memberships
Indian Dance: 6-17 years old, numerous recitals
NHS/NJHS
Students Engaged in Volunteer Activities(SEVA) Secretary-11th

She's pretty sure she can pull her rank up into the top 100, but not into the top decile.

Even if she had top 10%, she wouldn't be garanteed the spot she wants. That rule only promises A spot in the university. If your in the top ten percent and you're not good enough for the college of your choice, you get a spot in the College of Liberal Arts, which she really doesn't want due to her desire to study biology/biochemistry/genetics. She wants to go into the College of Natural Sciences, as I stated in my first post, which is more selective. How much more, she doesn't know, hence the OP.

I got into UT OOS and her stats should let her in. Her act was slightly higher than mine but my cum was a 4.1... if she has good EC's then id say she was fine. UT is 90% texan so she should be fine, even with her rank i would say
