<p>Junior in high school in Louisiana. My dream is to go into nuclear engineering at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I have wanted to do this since I was 10 years old.</p>
<p>ACT-28 (31 Reading, 26 English, 27 Math, 27 Science) Plan to retake it in June, but UTK superscores it so I should have above a 30.</p>

<p>5 Math- Algebra I, Algebra II, Advanced Math Pre-Calculus(Semester course DE), Adv. Math Trigonometry(semester course DE), Adv. Math Calculus(DE) OR Calculus AP if it is offered next year(they haven't decided yet)</p>
<p>4 History- World Geography, Civics/Free Enterprise, American History, World History(DE)</p>
<p>2 years of Spanish</p>
<p>Other classes- Technical Drafting and CAD, Intro to BCA, 2 and a half years of PE, Ag, Fine Arts Survey(DE), etc.</p>
<p>EC's: My main ECs are in my school's science club. Instead of joining 25 random clubs I devoted myself to the ones that interested me most.
- Founded the Engineering Branch of my school's science club. Elected President of this science club (also math and engineering club now) for 2 years in a row. My leadership in the club obtained us 55 new members.
- I also helped build some equipment for my school lab, designed some cool new experiments that can be done in the lab as well.
- Co-Captain of the Science Olympiad Team (also helped to found the team)
- My biggest EC is my years of individual science research and engineering projects. I have designed all kinds of things from rockets to high energy particle detectors. One of my biggest projects was my powered armor that allows disabled people to use their muscles and it has military potential as well. I have multiple research papers and schematics to prove this along with my teacher's signature( he has a PHD in neutrino physics and he will also write my letter of recommendation). I have been doing this since I was the age of 10.</p>
