Chances at UVA and More

SAT: 2160 Superscore (670 CR, 800 M, 690 W), 2130 One-sitting (670 CR, 770 M, 690 W)

SAT II: M2 800, US History 660

AP: Sophomore Year: Stats-4; Junior Year: Calc AB-5, Lang-5, USH-4, Chem-4, Micro-4

Grades: Straight A's excluding one A-, 3.9 UW, 4.3 W, 3rd/225 Class Rank

ECs:
Soccer- 4 years, varsity, captain
Math Club- 2 years, president and founder
Student Council- 3 years, treasurer
Latin Club- 4 years, treasurer
Various other clubs of which I am not an officer.

Community Service: Tutoring and a few other things, but nothing extraordinary

Other: Essays and recommendations will be above average, but nothing that will make me a "must have" student.

Chance me at UVA (EA), William and Mary, and Cornell. For UVA and W&M, I am OOS. If you have any suggestions, those would help too.

I can only assess UVa and W&M, as my daughter applied and was admitted to both during the last admission cycle. Her UW GPA was slightly higher, SAT superscore 100+ points higher, but CR+M almost equal. Her subject tests were significantly lower than yours. Course rigor about the same, OOS as well, fewer AP’s taken (I think she took 5 total), much more depth and breadth to EC’s and more leadership and service. That being said, I do think you have a decent shot at all 3. Are you looking for suggestions as to how to improve your app or other schools to apply to?
