I posted on an earlier thread about likely letters, and got some good feedback.

My Stats:

GPA, UW:3.82 W:4.375 94-100 A scale

Rank: 28/576 (top 5%)

SAT I:M700, W660, R540 SAT II:M(1)700, M(2)660 AP US:4

currently taking AP Calc (AB&BC), AP Chem, AP Govt

2 sports (wrestling and crew)
executive of mu alpha theta, math honor society
sec of chem club
NHS member
Model UN delegate
Chamber Orchestra violist
Jazz Band bassist

I was just wondering how all of you would think my chances will be affected by my midterm grades: AP Calc AB-"A", AP Chem- "A", Physics-"A", Chamber Orchestra-"A", AP Govt...."C".

The C is really freaking me out; however, it IS NOT a final grade. I take that class every other day and only accounts for 2/5 of what my final grade will be. It's the only C that appears anywhere on my transcript and I did specify when submitted that it was not final and my school uses the 94-100 scale (the C was around 84-85).

Is this going to completely ruin my chances for admission? I know that I am probably on the edge of getting in in the first place with my lower SAT scores, but when I met with a member of the UVA admissions council back in October, she told me not to worry about them.

Just for reference I am applying to the Engineering School and I am instate.
I really would appreciate your feedback!
