Let me know what you guys think please!

Thanks!

^ can you say laundry?

???

He means that you join clubs just as resume padders. And why are you even asking for chances? Use some common sense and you can guess your own chances with those stats.

Can you afford UMich OOS?

How are you going to fit all that onto the Common App?

ArKhAiK- why are others asking for chances? its the same thing. tell everyone here who’s asking about chances to use their common sense. All i asked was some feedback no need to be so negative. And i am not just joining all these clubs because it is padding my resume, I actually am interested which is why for most of these clubs, I dedicated all my four years to it.

Erin’s Dad- I’m applying for financial aid so I will come out with loans.

performersmom- you can upload a separate document (can be your resume or a description of a important extracurricular) I’m currently in the process of weeding out some stuff.

anyone else? please!

You are a strong applicant, but would benefit immensely from raising your SAT’s. What is your SAT break down? How many times have you taken it? Perhaps try the ACT?

I’m applying for financial aid so I will come out with loans.

Well, if you want to go to med school, then minimize your loans.

YOU can only borrow the following amounts.

frosh 5500
soph 6500
jr 7500
sr 7500

You need to determine how much your parents will be expected to pay and how much they will pay.

Right now, your chances at UNC and UVA are not good because of your SAT.

my sat breakdown is Cr-660 Math-670 Writing-660
i have taken it twice- both times the scores did not differ very signifcantly, i am plannign on retaking it in october

I did take the ACT last weekend, but i doubt I got the score i want since with my senior classes/ summer internship, I did not have much time.

could my high gpa help my low sat scores? also i dont know if this helps but for the SAT II us, i self studied, i did not take APUSH

As it stands, your SATs are a bit low (though perhaps killers) for most of those schools. However, with a 1900, the may be ‘reaches’.

Otherwise, it’s kind of hard to evaluate when there’s a mismatch between grades and SATs such as yours. It would be easier to do so once you get your final SAT or ACT.

Reread post #10.

how do i figure out how much aid i can receive?

Estimating Financial Aid.

[College Calculators - savings calculators - college costs, loans](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Calculate Your Cost – BigFuture | College Board)

thank you!if i get a 2090 on my SAT will i have a chance then for UNC and UVA?

With the SAT – more is definitely better

For UVA, the 25th-75th percentile SAT Scores (CR+M) are 1220-1450. For UNC, it’s 1200-1400. So a 2090 likely move you to the upper range of scores for accepted students for either.

The USNWR rankings for 2011-12 came out yesterday. For the next couple of days, you can sign up and get full access to the survey without paying. I know the information is there for all the schools you’re looking at.

*how do i figure out how much aid i can receive? *

use the calculators…

But you have to realize that most schools don’t meet need.

And, you have to find out how much your family will pay each year.
