<p>I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences</p>

<p>Black Male</p>

<p>GPA: 4.190 weighted.......3.75 unweighted</p>

<p>ACT: 27</p>

<p>SAT II's : 610 Biology 600 Math I </p>

<p>Rank: 15/234</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities</p>

<p>-Diversity Awareness Club- President</p>

<p>-Spanish Club- President</p>

<p>-150 hrs of community service- tutoring children</p>

<p>-Work at grocery store -15hrs/week during school year ( I hope that counts for something)</p>

<p>-Summer internship-IRS 40hrs a week for 10 weeks</p>

<p>-a couple of summer programs</p>

<p>-I served on my school's board which was like a 3 yr process</p>

<p>-yearbook club</p>

<p>Ive done a couple of other things but you get the picture.</p>

<p>-also i'm in an accelerated program where I get a scholarship to my HS</p>

<p>Any responses are greatly appreciated</p>

<p>ACT and SAT2 are kind of low. Might not get into any of these two.</p>

<p>I know My ACT is not incredibly high but its in the 90th percentile. O also I forgot to mention this: UVa told me that if I do bad on SAT II's they'll act like they're not there. They only want to see that I took them apparently.</p>

<p>I'd say in even considering the low (not really low lol) ACT. If that were a 29 then it probably wouldn't even be a question. You do however have a better chance at Vandy then at UVA since you're OOS.</p>

<p>being out of state and having a lot of people from your school apply will hurt you but you have a very decent chance.
