<p>Can someone chance me for UVA, Wake Forest, William and Mary, and UNC Chapel Hill? VT is my backup, so hopefully I'm okay for that school. </p>

<p>I am from the Virginia, and I am a legacy at UVA. I am interested in studying biology. I recently toured and interviewed at Wake Forest and have decided that it is my top choice. </p>

<p>School/Scores</p>

<p>SAT Score: 1280, 1910 combined (I would not send this to Wake Forest). Also, I know that these are very low, I am an awful test-taker. :(
SAT 2: 660 Math 1, 600 Biology (would not send this to Wake Forest or UNC, also very low.)
GPA: 4.33 weighted, 3.9 unweighted
Top 2% of my class.
9 AP classes by graduation (european history, biology, us, language, literature, chemistry, psychology, calculus BC, government)- not sending any scores (all 3's).
I have taken 10 science classes in 4 years (all A'S).</p>

<p>Extra-Curricular</p>

<p>Editor-in-Chief of school yearbook
Intern in a biomanufacturing lab at local university. Also lead student co-author on a manuscript that has been published. Luckily Wake was really excited about that.
Volunteer camp counselor during the summer at a camp for youth who have special needs.
Also a school ambassador for students who have special needs.
Captain of Varsity Tennis team
Lifeguard during the summer
Member of Mu Alpha Theta
Vice President of NEHS
Member of NHS </p>

<p>I was nominated for and attended Virginia Girl's State as a delegate.
I also was nominated for and attended a public health conference at VT. </p>

<p>I think you’ll definitely get into Tech. UNC is difficult because they have an 18% rule where only 18% of accepted applicants can be out of state but you have some good ECs and a strong gpa so they may be a low reach.
I think you’re solid with Wake. they’re private so their process is different but you seem a strong candidate there!
You seem a very solid match for UVA with legacy
You seem a pretty solid match to William and Mary as well!
Chances are if you don’t get into UVA you will get into William and Mary and vise versa. Those schools seem to even each other out in the admission pool so never fret! :)</p>

<p>Totally! Especially since you seem really interested in the sciences as the sciences are Tech’s forte. VT is a really good backup because their natural/life science programs are so well respected and with you stats, I don’t see you getting denied by Tech so best of luck! and fingers crossed for you with Wake Forest! Don’t stress-always remember test scores don’t mean everything</p>

<p>SAT optional schools like Holy Cross-top25 LAC near Boston. HC has very good science programs.</p>
