class rank? You seem to have a good chance with your stats.

School doesn't rank.

Thanks for the input. Anyone else?

How does that GPA compare to others in your class? Where do people with similar GPA's go to college?

SATs are very good, but GPA is low for UVA. what are your ECs; do you have a hook??? i'd say you have a decent chance

Editor-in-Chief of newspaper
All-conference tennis
VP of political club
National Honor Society

That's good enough. More important will be how your GPA compares to others in your class and how you present yourself in your essays.

Thanks.
Few questions:
-How much help would applying ED be? (I really want to go here)
-Does anyone have the %s for accept/defer/reject during ED?
-Would I be better off waiting until RD and getting a strong GPA (3.9+) first semester?

There are more less qualified applicants and less number of total applicants in ED. I am not sure about the defer rate but the acceptance rate is about the same as RD. You would be better off in ED.

Thanks.
Any other opinions on ED/RD for me?
