List:

Gtown (ED)

3.UMich (ED)

UNC

Wake

Cornell

U Maryland

Another safety/low match reccomendation?

Thanks a lot!

UVa no longer offers ED.

well you just apply early and hear back earlier.... I no it's not the TRUE ED but really not many schools have binding anymore

UVA is a reach, a lot of your so called accomplishments are mundane tasks that colleges would expect for you to do in the few leardership positions you have. Even with the legecy a 2000 is low OOS for UVA

schism, it doesn't matter if his scores are low for OOS. He isn't viewed as OOS, he's viewed equally with the virginia residents. I think he has a pretty good chance.

ok what would you call "not mundane" then? sucking off a college admission officer like you do schism? that sounds pretty un-mundane

OK I'm sorry maybe I was a little harsh, you have a better shot than I probably stated because of the legacy. In reality a 2000 isn't bad. I'm sorry i offended you so much but why would you post in this forum if your not expecting multiple viewpoints? If you wanted reassurance without personal suggestions from others viewing your stats i think your'e in the wrong place

My friend applied last year. The kid had a higher GPA than you, higher SATs, some exciting extra curriculars and he got waitlisted. Take from that what you like.

hey abcd- shut you..... I'm just kidding, I know it's a big toss-up in reality, what about the other schools?

Honestly, I think you're a reach for virtually all of those schools. Now, odds are, you WILL get into one, but they are all very competitive. UMD is a solid safety for you, however. I suggest retaking the ACT/SAT before applying (you could still apply EA if you retook them), for a maximum shot. Best of luck!
