I have a GPA around of 3.65 at the end of my freshman year.
transferring as a sophomore.
I jst became in-state and transferring from a good, prestigious University
Very good recommendations from 3 of my professors.
very good ECs as well... too many to list here.

I am going to apply to
College of William and Mary
University of Virginia

Can some one give me a slight idea of my chances please?
although i am in-state, im kinda new here so I don't have ne leads.

If you are in-state, then very good chance (normally 3.4 required). If out-of-state, then 50-50 (average is 3.7 for acceptance).

thanks a million. :) giving me alot of hope here. i was worrying sick for a few days after reading GPAs of over <3.8 on this website. :(
any more bumps??

It's always easy to get into a state school is you r resident

thanx. ^^ if ur dad attended, or your older sister or brother attends the university... does that help your chances? or is it jst some myths i've heard?

Parents or step parents matter, no one else. If this is the case, you're a legacy; however it supposedly only provides a significant boost if you're OOS. (In which case your app. is evaluated according to IS standards.)
