chances at UW grad school

<p>If I have a 2.8-2.9ish gpa upon graduation at purdue university in industrial engineering</p>

<p>about a 1400 / 1600 GRE score</p>

<p>and work experience at big companies</p>

<p>no research experience</p>

<p>what do you say my chances at UW grad school for IE are?</p>

<p>I think you should talk to the admissions counseler. Your GPA doesn't meet the minimal requirements at many graduate engineering schools. At UW you need a min of 3.0 for last two years of course work. Work experience won't help you that much unless it demonstrates research experience. Even if you meet the minimum, graduate school in engineering is very competitive. Although your GRE is very high, the verbal portion isn't counted very much.</p>
