For a friend for next year's admissions

GPA: ~3.65 UW (probably around 3.7 by end of year)

ACT: 29 (probably will raise it to a 30-31)

ECs: Worked a part time job with a company, played varsity sports, did some unique ECs, volunteered.

Major: Business/Economics

Schools:
Vanderbilt
USC
Wake Forest
Tulane

Vanderbilt -- High Reach
USC -- Slight Reach/Match
Wake Forest -- Slight Reach/Match
Tulane-- Slight Reach/Match

Don't worry about it, you'll do fine in all of them. I have friends who have been accepted to all those Unis and they dont have stats anywhere near you. Vandy might be 50/50 though. Somtimes people like to make out that getting in is a lot harder than it really is.

Tulane is not a reach. You will get in.

College2332's assessment is accurate, based on your friend's current GPA and ACT score. If your friend does get his or her ACT score up to 31, Vandy still remains a reach. The rest become matches.

Wake Forest doesn't accept the ACT.
