<p>Well, about your chances at Duke...they recieved a super-competitive huge applicant pool this year, so their standards have gone up. (18000 RD applicants for an incoming class of 1640 (including ED kids)...)</p>
<p>realistically, your chances are not that great. Your SAT needs to be at least 1250+ for you to even have a semi-decent shot. You also really need to be in the top ten percent of your class, considering about 70-80% of accepted students to those schools are.</p>
