should i take early action or wait on my senior year?
What should i do now to up chances?
What should i take my senior year? (ive been recomended for ap biology II, AP US Literature, AP US History, AP Stats, HSTE III & IV, Business Computer I &II)

mainly because if i cant get into georgia, i probably wont get into emory. gsu kinda sucks, so i was looking into some florida schools
i was thinking about Florida State too

well, you have a great shot at miami, and you'd almost certainly get into UF's honors college. If you compared florida's state schools to national schools, UF would be harvard and USF would be like penn state (nothing against penn state).

Well, UGA is getting more and more competitive, but I think you will get in.
Knowing your breakdown for the SAT v/m/r would help, but I think you have a good shot at Emory, try and up that SAT some more, and for Georgia, try and make that bball team--sports are important at UGA. I think you'll get into all your schools though, and I would go to Miami after Emory and Georgia. It's a really good school, but Emory is the best for academics and UGA rocks. Good luck.

Also, at my school your GPA would be 3.767, but that is probably wrong because I don't know if your grades are weighted or unweighted, and your school may calculate differently. Ask your college counselor...

In all honesty, I would totally avoid coming to FL. This state is terrible, it's why I'm leaving.

Your stats are way too good for USF. One of my friends goes there and I visted him and the campus isn't nice at all. It's in a bad part of town and there is always crime nearby. Not the safest of places in my opinion.

As far as FSU, it's mainly a big party school. So are many others, but the only program many think is good up there is theater. And Tallahassee is boring.

I don't blame you about not mentioning UF. I would never go there either.

As far as the University of Tennessee goes, you would most likely get in. That's where I'm going and I love it up there. If your really interested you should definately go up to Knoxville and take a tour. Totally worth the time, I got a lot of information out of it. It's a really cool place, imo.

Whatever you end up deciding, I wish you good luck!

hmm i doubt ill make that basketball team. ill just stick with cross country and tennis but ill definately try out. Does that surfing part mean anything? I know its not a school sport, but I spend alot of time on it.

one thing im worried about with emory is being able to afford it. my family's not very rich and ive heard that emory costs 3-5x more than most other universities. Do they give greater scholarships or something?

If you want to go to Emory you may want to raise your SAT up a little and do your best to get good grades in your senior AP classes it's important to Emory. Plus order the Emory Video Visit on their website and try to visit there if you can they love students that are very interested in their school. What part of GA do you live in btw? I live in Newnan a little south of Atlanta.

Georgia is a safety, Emory is a bit of a reach, but an attainable one, Georgia Southern is a desperate safety, Miami is a safety, not terribly familiar with high point, Tennesee and South Carolina are safeties, and South Florida is another ridicilious safety.
