Hello everyone. I was deferred from Villanova in the EA round and I’m wondering what my chances will be for the RD round that’s supposed to be released next week.
Here are my stats-
31 ACT (one sitting)
4.19 W GPA
5 AP Classes throughout HS (4 on AP Chem)
NHS, World Language Honor Society
Student Council 2 years
4-year varsity baseball
multiple other club memberships
peer tutoring (in biology)
About 80 reported community service hours
–reported lots of interest: visited 3+ times, met w AO at school
—Aunt & Uncle both attended Villanova
I applied in the College of Arts and Sciences as a Biology major.
Thanks and good luck to everyone waiting for their response!
@dfrash158 - I was also deferred EA with similar stats for VSB. I visited the school during February break just to get a feel for the students. Nothing organized (I previously did the info and campus tour through admissions). It was amazing interacting with students - they were so helpful and candid about the good and not so good about Nova (good far outweighed bad with everyone I met. I visited many great schools the past year but Nova was special because of the students. Let’s hope they take 75% through RD like they did last year. Good luck
Hi! Similar stats and deferred EA to the College of Arts and Sciences as well. I’m hoping for the best. I’m not sure what Villanova was looking for in their EA applicants
My daughter had similar stats. She was deferred from EA to RD and now waitlisted. How did it work out for each of you?
@R125mom I was also deferred EA and I was waitlisted RD.
