Chances at WAKE

Hey all,

I'm a junior and i'm starting to look at colleges. I love Wake Forest, and I WILL apply early decision there. So here's the breakdown: My freshman and sophomore years of high school, i had major academic problems. Just was not doing well in classes, and not taking challenging classes. I've stepped it up this year and am doing very well. And i will continue the trend next year. I'm hoping that Wake will see my academic improvement and growth over everything. Any thoughts on the above? Ok here are the goods:

Freshman Year

Bio CP, Geometry CP, American Honors, French II, English CP. Respectable grades in all. Maybe 2 Bs or something.

Sophomore Year

Alg II Honors, American II Honors, French III, Chem CP, English CP. All As. Not one B.

Junior Year

Alg III Honors, Euro AP, French IV Honors, Physics CP, English Honors. All A's. All Year.

Senior Year (planned to take the following)

Calc AP AB, Gov AP, Econ AP, French V, English: World Lit, Music Theory AP.
There's also a chance that i will enroll at Lehigh University and take a comparative politics course. (Which would take away 2 classes from the above^)

Ok, those are my grades. As i said, i know i could have done better my freshman year, and could have challenged myself more my sophomore year. I hope that Wake will see my improvement.

Extracurriculars

This is what helps me a bit. I'm not going to lie, i'm an excellent jazz pianist. I'm hoping to make state band next year. I will send in a recording of my songs... how much do you think this will help?
