Chances at WashU, Rice, Cornell, Northwestern, CMU

<p>Sorry everyone, I hate "Chance Me Threads" (that's a lie, I love looking at other people's) but I have nothing else to do right now and I just got my SAT scores back. Please "Chance Me" for Rice, WashU, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell. Thanks a lot.</p>

High School: Magnet (ranked "public elite" by some organization, Newsweek maybe?)
Will apply for financial aid: Yes</p>

<p>QPA (school doesn't do GPA) - 91.60%
Rank- School doesn't rank on account of being a Magnet.
Class Size: 65</p>

<p>SAT's:
1st time:
720 M, 720 W, 790 CR (will try not to send these scores)</p>

<p>2nd time:
780 M, 800 W, 800 CR</p>

<p>SAT II's:
710 Chem: will take Math II and Lit, hoping to break 750 in each</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Soccer for 4 Years, varsity 2 years
I have had a job since the end of Sophomore year and work 15/ 20 hours a week.
House band for school for 2 years
I don't really know how to mention this on an application, but I'm a drummer and a few friends and I founded a rock band and we're pretty serious about it. I also don't know how to mention that I play A LOT of drums.</p>

<p>I have taken challenging courses throughout high school as all of the classes offered in my school are considered honors. I took 1 AP junior year and hope to take 3 senior year. I am trying to pass out of Calc A/B over the summer and, if I do, this is my schedule for next year.

<p>Just to let you know, I have a friend who was accepted to CM with around a 2200 (probably lower) regular decision and a 4.4 GPA (not sure what this converts to in percentages). I would say you’d definitely get in there and Cornell (he was accepted there regular as well). Your SAT’s and grade percentage are excellent. I wish you the best of luck, although I am sure you don’t need it.</p>
