<p>Northwestern University is my current top choice and I thought it would be quite beneficial to know what people--not including my counselors and friends--thought my chances were for acceptance. </p>

<p>I live in the Philippines, a third world country situated in South East Asia, and I attend a pretty prominent international school. I am also an IB Diploma candidate.</p>

<p>So here are my stats:</p>

<p>SAT I (breakdown): CR: 670 M: 720 W: 750 Total: 2150</p>

<p>SAT II: 800 Math IIC, 690 Physics</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.7</p>

<p>Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): School does not rank. </p>

<p>IB (place score in parenthesis): My school predicted me an overall 41 or 42.
BREAKDOWN --> IB Math SL (7/7), IB Economics HL (7/7), IB Film HL (7/7)
IB Chinese SL (6/7), IB Physics SL (6/7), IB English A1 HL (6/7)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Film Society (Co-Founder), ICARE Council member (organizer of school's biggest community service trips), Academic Bowl team (champions), Varsity Rugby, Varsity Track and Field, JV Soccer</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience: Accepted to highly selective internship at 5 star hotel in Manila</p>

<p>Volunteer/Community service: 200+ hours</p>

<p>School Type: Private, International
Ethnicity: Korean
Gender: Male
Income Bracket: I do not need financial aid.
Special hooks: </p>

<p>a film I made on behalf of a project my film club was involved in with community service foundations, was featured in a national news article. </p>

<p>the same film is also considered for showing at the national seeds project in wellesley college. </p>

<p>participating in a national powerlifting competition this coming january.</p>

<p>SAT is in the lower range of the interquartile range, but your GPA and extra curriculars are good.
The 800 on Math II should also boost your chances.</p>
