chances at Wesleyan

<p>I'm applying as a transfer students to Wesleyan. I can't find any statistics on transfer admissions so it's hard to tell if I have a shot but it seems most of my numbers are about average and I think i've got some good extracurriculars that will give me a boost. </p>

<p>High School GPA: 3.2
SATs: 690CR 680M 670W
SAT II: 680 Bio</p>

<p>ECs (what I think are the most important ones or ones that have carried over into college...):</p>

<p>-Junior Year- Worcester Art All State (created installations with other students in the worcester are museum during a weekend)
-I was in a few art shows
-Relay for Life Team captain since 8th grade
-Some volunteer work that I still do on my breaks at the local hospital
-varsity crew coxswain for all 4 years
-talented tean award in visual arts</p>

<p>College:
GPA: 3.5 (from a top 40 LAC)</p>

<p>ECs:
-part of an advisory board for energy use to the city my school is located in. i was part of the subcommittee that calculated the city's carbon footprint (along with an engineer from GE) so the board could make suggestions to city hall on how to reduce emissions and costs
-founding member of an organic farm club
-environmental club
-frisbee team
-coxswain on the crew team </p>

<p>Another thing i should point out is that I'm doing an independent study as an extra course next term where I will publish a thesis-length paper calculating and analyzing our school's carbon footprint. </p>

<p>Recommendations:
I've read both of my rec's and they are both very good</p>
