Schools

Wharton
NYU - Stern
Yale :)
UMichigan
Penn State - Schreyer

only one thing pulling you back (your sat score) raise it to a 2150+ and then these are your chances

Wharton SLIGHT REACH
NYU - Stern MATCH
Yale REACH
UMichigan SLIGHT REACH/MATCH
Penn State - Schreyer MATCH

If you want to get into any of the uber-selective schools, I would strongly advise you raise your SATs. Because valedictorian+1990=egregious grade inflation OR horrible school. If its the latter then you would have a decent shot at these schools.... otherwise raise your SAT to 2100+ and then I think you have a great shot at all except Yale. No one has a "great shot" at Yale but you would have better than most. Your ECs are excellent which helps.

As for now:
Wharton REACH (15%)
NYU - Stern HIGH MATCH (45-55%)
Yale INSANE REACH (<10%)
UMichigan MATCH (60-70%)---you have a great shot here
Penn State - Schreyer MATCH/SAFETY (80-95%)

You're a great student who's smart and involved. Trust me, with ease a student like you can raise his/her SAT score a good 200 pts which would put you in game at all of these schools.

Also, study for those SAT II's like a *****. No offense, but looking at your school (3800 students), I doubt it prepared you effectively for those tests.

thanks for your opinions. i actually go to a very good public school, my SATs do a poor job refecting the school because i get very anxious while taking the test and that effects always hurts my scores.

Wharton- High Match/Slight Reach
