Work: I’ve worked as a tennis instructor, and I’m currently working as a social media expert for a publishing company. I started my own website as a freelancer for social media optimization.

Essay: I wrote about how I overcame having to move away from my parents and learn a new language.

Hook: I don’t know if this is really a “hook” but I immigrated from Korea when I was 10 and got adopted by my aunt and uncle.

I think you have a really good shot at acceptance! You meet their average GPA and SAT scores/ACT scores (if not being above them!) and you have an excellent list of extra-curriculars. The extracurricular activities are also pretty revealing- music, tennis, media, etc. Good luck!!!

For a “science and mathematics school” and for applying to Wharton, that SAT Math seems a bit low…

Yeah, I didn’t study for it (bad idea) and only took it once since I was originally not going to apply to any ivy league schools. Oh well, such is life

I wouldn’t worry about SAT math since you have a 36 in ACT math. I think you have a really good chance. Best of luck!
