<p>I’m a Junior this year just trying to put things into perspective for next year. I will most likely be applying to Wharton early next year.</p>

<p>Race: Chinese
School: Great Neck South, Top 20 Public School in the Country
Schedule: Toughest possible
Sophomore Year - AP Euro-5</p>

<p>Junior Year (estimated scores) - Physics B- 4 or 5, English Lang - 4 or 5, USH - 5, Psych - 5, Stat - 4 or 5 (self-study)</p>

<p>Senior Year - Econ (Macro and Micro), Government (Comp and U.S.), English Lit, Physics C, Spanish Lang, Calc BC</p>

<p>SAT: 760CR/760M/650W (waiting on April scores, might take again on October if unhappy with writing from April)
SAT II: Math Level 2- 800, US History- probably 750+, Physics- No idea hoping for around 750, Math Level 1-780
GPA: 3.95 out of 4 (school doesn’t weight)
Rank: School doesn’t rank (probably top 5-10%)</p>

just curious, I'm currently involved in research as well in the same field (only mine is survey-based)</p>

<p>No one can say whether or not you'll get in, and remember its not just the stats, essays, recomendations, that all matters too. If you really wan totalk to someone call admisions and ask who you area rep is( the admissions staff person covering your area and ask them. All I have to say is keep working hard and try to make that and your personality come across in the application. Your stats look strong but so do many other applicants. People who are academically strong do get rejected and some that aren't as great in school do. Its not exactly fair but there isn't really a fair way. I would encourage you to make yourself stand outin the application and make sure to really talk about why you want to go to Penn. Oh and one more thing, don't BS, they can usually telland besides the real you is better. Good Luck and Maybe I'll see you here in a few years</p>
