<p>Essay: It's awesome. I've been working on it tirelessly for about two months, and I'm really proud of it. </p>

<p>If I’m going to be honest, I think you either won’t get in or will be waitlisted. As I am not an admissions officer, my opinion is just that: an opinion. However, I will say that being an OOS female puts you in a very tough position because you will be competing against significantly more people than anyone from Virginia. Your ACT is near the bottom end of W&M’s ACT middle-50 (29-33), and that’s including IS and OOS. OOS standardized test scores are in higher ranges because of the increased amount of competition. Your GPA is good, of course, but so is the GPA of most of the people who apply. Your extracurriculars and honors are great but nothing that really seems to stand out. Your essay could be the thing that either lets you in or keeps you out. Make sure you run it by multiple people before submitting your application and try to read it from as many different perspectives as possible. Best of luck! :)</p>
